My Why Story

I chose to teach Physical Education because I love teaching and coaching sports as well as teaching students’ different exercises and ways to maintain physically active and healthy. It is so rewarding watching my students get better and succeed after working so hard at certain skills and concepts. I graduated from Dordt University in 2013 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.

I have taught Physical Education for 7 years and I can’t wait to get started at San Tan Charter School-Recker Campus.
