Recker Campus – Learning Celebration
Good Morning San Tan Families!
As a reminder, on November 8th, we will be hosting our Culture Fair and Learning Celebration! During the day, students will be given the opportunity to walk around our Cultural Fair, while parent volunteers present different countries to the students.
In the afternoon we will be hosting Learning Celebration. Learning Celebrations are a time honored tradition here at San Tan Charter School. They are a time for you to join your child in their classroom, to experience learning at its finest. All classrooms, projects, work samples are unique and your child will most likely lead most of the learning celebration and show you around their classroom. They are more than a display of student work rather a time for students to reflect on and articulate what they have learned, how they learned, questions they answered, research they conducted, what they loved, and what they didn’t. The celebration provides powerful opportunities to make learning public for our students, a sense of pride in their accomplishments. I hope you enjoy learning celebration as much as the kids, teachers, and administration do.
Parking Situation- Please park your cars in the parking lot, church, or the neighborhood. If you would like to come early, please note that we will not be opening the gates until 2:30.
Schedule
There will be NO drive lane. Please come to your student’s classrooms to view presentations and pick up your students.
K-8 Afternoon dismissal Times
11:30- Half Day Kinder
3:00- Kinder and First Grade
3:15- Second Grade and Montessori Classes
3:25- Third and Fourth Grade
3:35 Middle School
Following the learning celebration, you are welcome to walk around the Cultural Fair, located in the Gymnasium.
