I hope you are all enjoying your first week of Fall Break! Office hours for break are from 9-3 and the office will be closed Thursday-Monday.

Next Week’s Games

Join us for our football game this next week on October 7th starting at 7:00 pm at the Power Campus. The theme of the game is “Black Out”, if you wear black, you will get a dollar off admittance! We will have food trucks and our sixth graders selling Gatorade and water!!

Football Anthem

In celebration of a job well done with singing the National Anthem at the Diamondbacks Game and the Homecoming Game, we are inviting the all students to participate in singing the National Anthem at each home football game for the rest of the year! Please sign up using the following link.

Door Decorating Contest Voting

I need help with judging the finalists as ALL the doors were fantastic!!!! The following rooms received high marks so we will put it to a vote!! The winning door will a $50-dollar gift card PLUS major bragging rights.

Guidelines: Classrooms can decorate the door and their wall around their door. Please do not cover any glass (for safety reasons), door knobs or the opening/closing of the door. With these limitations in mind, be creative and go all out!!

Voting will close October 7th!!! Vote for your FAVORITE!!

Paper Drive

Our annual beginning of the year PAPER DRIVE is in full effect starting Monday, October 10^th– December 9^th. The class with the MOST points will receive a teacher reward for participating is $100 classroom fund. Write your teacher’s name on the paper and send it to the front office.

Guest Teachers

We need guest teachers to fill in when our teaching staff is out ill. If you would like to guest teach for us, please email Ms. Richardson at srichardson@santancs.com to get back on the list for this school year.

 

Family Engagement Committee

At San Tan, we do not have a PTO, we have the Family Engagement Committee! The FEC will be helping with school events, parent groups, fundraising initiatives and organizing parent support within the classroom.
