Penny Wars
One, two, three four! I declare a penny war!
Next week, in front of the library windows, you will find a jar with your teacher’s name on it, you will want to put as many pennies in that jar as you can! The teacher with the most pennies wins a PIZZA PARTY!!
But wait… there is more! If you put any OTHER monies in a different teacher’s jar, it will make them go negative, so you can keep other classes from winning!
We will announce the winning class everyday near the end of the day!
Penny War ends Friday!
Pumpkin Contest
San Tan Charter School is hosting our Annual Disguise a Pumpkin Competition!
Guidelines for the competition include:
- Pumpkin Size: 2 lbs or less
- Pumpkins cannot be carved
- No scary Halloween decorations (Preschool Friendly)
Turn Pumpkins into Mrs. Bock at the front desk on October 16th to enter in the contest.
The contest will run through Friday, October 20th
Winner will be determined and announced on Monday, October 23rd during morning announcements.
Save the Date! Learning Celebration
Learning Celebration is a time-honored tradition that we have at San Tan where families are invited into each student’s classroom to celebrate all the hard work and learning the students have done. We will run Learning Celebration from 2:00-3:30 (11:30-12:00 for half day Kinder) on Friday November 3rd.
Cultural Fair
We are hosting our annual Cultural Fair at the Recker campus on November 6th from 9:00-1:30. We typically ask for parents to come in and volunteer to run a table based on your family’s culture. We would love for families to host a table to share artifacts, foods, and stories that reflect your family’s culture. This is such a fun and informative event for our elementary students.
Here is our sign-up link and thank you so much for considering!
