Dear Sarah,

Happy Tuesday! I hope you’re having a fantastic day! Can you believe that tomorrow is a monumental day for us? It’s our 100th day of school, and I couldn’t be more excited! Time has flown by, and it’s incredible to think about all the amazing things we’ve accomplished together. Let’s celebrate this milestone and make tomorrow a day to remember!

Recorder for Music

For this next concert cycle we will be exploring the instrument, the recorder. We will be studying basic rhythms and intonation as well as learning how to read sheet music and memorize music. By the week of January 15th please make sure your student has the following items at their respective class that week.

Recorder (doesn’t matter the brand or color just whatever you prefer) make sure it is a baroque recorder NOT a german recorder. The hole sizes are different and will not be comfortable with certain hand shapes. Here is my suggested link for a recorder.

Please make sure to label all your student’s belongings as they will be kept in the music classroom.

Each class will be studying a different level of recorder and will be performing with their recorder at the spring recital (Date will be announced later).

There are TWO ways to give!

In addition, our Montessori Preschool School gives out around $45,000.00 a year in scholarship to those families in need, we are able to offer these scholarships because of the Arizona School tax credit program. The best part is whatever you contribute, you will receive dollar for dollar back on your state taxes. So, if you give $100, you can deduct that $100 off what you owe in taxes. You do not have to have a child at the school to pledge, you must only be an AZ State resident paying AZ State taxes.
