We are off to a brilliant start!  Our kiddos are engaged and settling into their new classes and the learning has begun!

Join our gifted community at our upcoming San Tan University.  We have been truly blessed to have guest speaker Dr. Paul Beljan from Beljan Psychological Services attending our information night. Dr. Beljan will be discussing Gifted Children and why they do the strange things they do as well as answer questions and concerns from parents.

Gifted Camp @ Tonto

Our annual trip north for gifted enrichment @ Tonto Creek Camp is right around the corner!  Students will attend activities that are specifically designed to meet the needs of our gifted kiddos taught by ASU’s professors.  Activities may include hiking, archery, engineering, ecology, team building, astronomy, orienteering, wilderness survival and much much more.  Visit www.tontocreekcamp.com for more information about Tonto Camp. (Tonto Camp is ASU’s fall football camp!)

 

**Permission slips are handed out this week, you can download the permission slip if your student misplaced their printed copy. Recker Permission Slip. Power Permission Slip.

**Permission slips are due no later than Sept. 25th

 

Recker  Campus – 4th through 8th grades: Oct. 21-23 (Monday through Wednesday)

Power  Campus – 7th through 12th grades: Oct. 23-25 (Wednesday through Friday)

 

Chaperones Needed– Camp wouldn’t be possible without parent volunteers!  Please join us!  We are always looking for parents to join us on our adventures.  Chaperones will need a fingerprint clearance card for overnight camps. If you do not have one, there is a flyer attached for your convenience.  Fingerprint cards last for 6 years, get yours today!   ;-))

 

San Tan Gifted Committee Board Meetings ~ Quarter 1 is Sept. 16th

Our gifted committee board meetings are open to anyone in our San Tan Gifted Community. Our committee is looking for parent volunteers to join our gifted team in serving on our affiliate board as we bring even more opportunities to our gifted community this year.  If you are interested, please respond to this email for more information.   Our board meetings are open to the public and we welcome families to join us.
