Greetings Roadrunner Families,

Our first full week is off to an amazing start. I can’t thank you enough for your support in the drivelane, being punctual to school, and for your positive words on Facebook! Our teachers have worked tirelessly to make school something that is enjoyable, interactive, and individualized.  We are thrilled to announce our updated website www.santancharterschool.com . Please take a look at the amazing resources and we appreciate the grace you give us as we continue to enhance our systems, the pages, and information.   I look forward to seeing everyone at our Fall Clubs Fair at 5:30pm. You can enter through the main lobby and visit the various clubs that will be set up through the downstairs hallway. You will see the club catalog and the registration form to fill out in advance if needed.

Half Day Kindergarten Pick Up:

Can you believe we dismissed over 50 kindergartners in less than 10 minutes? Please remember to either stay in your car or wait until the teachers have all children out of the building to their bench before getting your student. This allows the teachers to be certain students have been picked up by their designated adult. You are also welcome to park and buckled those seatbelts so that the car line can continue moving forward. We truly appreciate everyone being so punctual, 12:00pm sharp.

Afternoon Pick Up:

Thank you for having your car cards in the front right hand side of your dash. We also appreciate cars that move all the way forward so we can fit in as many cars as possible before students get in. Our teachers are focusing on the safety of getting the correct student into the correct car so please limit discussions with staff and our teachers will be happy to email or call. Arriving at your child’s designated dismissal time helps with the flow of traffic as well.  Lastly, please communicate with your child’s teachers about afternoon pick up. If you have a younger sibling, we usually bring students to the cafeteria to wait for the older sibling to pick up. If your older sibling is playing a sport or you would like to pick your child up at their pick up time let your child’s teacher know so we can have them in the appropriate placement.
