Teacher Appreciation Luncheon- May 9th, 2019
We are SO CLOSE to our goal of $800.00, thank you to all of you who donated. Also, a big thank you to those of you who signed up to come help cover recess and lunch for our teachers. We have a few more spots in different lunch times. Thank you for all your support!
In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week in May, we want to provide a luncheon in honor of our teachers and staff. They eat with their students each day and don’t often have quality time to just spend lunch together as a team. We are asking for your support by helping us supervise their recess and lunch as well as any monetary donations that can be made for a catered lunch. We are in need of about $800.00 to have a fancy luncheon catered by Zappone’s Italian Bistro and Catering (http://www.zapponesbistro.com/

Spring Music Concert Information
Middle School Concert (Grades 5-7): The Middle School choir class, Cantus, will be putting on a spring concert on May 16th at 6:00pm in the Recker gym. All students in Cantus will need to be in the music room at 5:30pm to warm up their voices, and to do some spot checks in the music before we perform. Students are permitted to wear Blue, Green, Red, or White for the concert. Please join Cantus as we sing music from different styles, including vocal jazz. The music is a lot of fun, and will be a great start to the summer for the San Tan Community.
Elementary Music Concert (Grades 1-4): The first through fourth grade classes of San Tan Charter School will be putting on “ Gotta Be Jazz,” a concert for the San Tan Charter School Community on May 21st at 5:30pm on the Recker football field. All students will need to be in the Recker gym at 5pm, so that each classroom teacher has time to place the kiddos in a certain order. The students should dress in the following color top:
1st Grade: Yellow
2nd Grade: Red
3rd Grade: Blue
4th Grade: Green
Please join the students as we travel through the different styles of jazz. We have worked hard on the music and are excited to perform the show for the San Tan community.
