Happy Week before Spring Break!
We have a week full of learning, fun, and half day conferences. Last week was such an eventful week with a Middle School Social, Fairytale Day, and Movie Night. Don’t forget to sign up with your child’s teacher for your ILP conference. I hope everyone enjoys a well needed Spring Break!
Each week I read a Character focus over the morning announcements that comes from our Character Counts Agenda. Last week the focus was “Be smart with technology. Use it in good ways only.” Unfortunately, there are those out there that don’t follow this very important lesson. There are a lot of claims floating around the media right now about some pretty frightening material that has made its way into our children’s videos. I wouldn’t send this message if it wasn’t starting to make its way into the classrooms by children talking with other children about it. I’m asking for your support by monitoring your child’s technology use as well as speaking to your child about not mentioning it to other children at school. We want to allow families the chance to discuss these topics in a manner they deem necessary for their child. Thank you so much for your support in this matter.

Spring Fling Half-Day Conference Camps
Your San Tan Charter School – Recker Campus EST Team (Electives & Specials Team) are excited to announce another great K-7th Grade, Half-day Conference Camp for our March 6th, 7th, & 8th half-days. Our camp includes great activities in PE, Music, and STREAMS. To register, sign-up on our Sign-up Genius, then fill out the attached registration form (forms can also be picked up at the front office) and drop it off at our front office with the camp fee (camp fees are non-refundable). The camp runs from 11:45 to 4:00 PM. Please remember to have your campers bring a sack lunch and an afternoon snack; along with a water bottle. Our semi-annual Recker Campus book fair with Usborne Books & More runs from Tuesday March 5 through Friday March 8. Please come view the amazing books before or after school next week. The cash & carry sale will also be available when you attend your child’s upcoming parent/teacher conference. Interested in more?
