The tax credit program is the perfect way to give and support San Tan Charter School’s goal of $86,000.00, we saw an incredible response this Giving Tuesday and have raised $27,000.00, thank you! The program is a win/win for everyone. By redirecting your tax dollars, you will support special programs at San Tan Charter School such as Music Education, which each student participates in and Physical Education, in which students participate in daily. It also provides weekly Library time for our students. At the high school level this helps support our amazing electives offerings. The best part, is whatever you contribute, you will receive dollar for dollar back on your state taxes. So, if you give $100, you can deduct that $100 off what you owe in taxes. If you are a married couple, you may only contribute up to $400. If you are single, the total amount that you can contribute is $200. A one-time contribution is also wonderful. The form link is now  https://yqysjrrxph.formstack.com/forms/?1627645-EuNcDzZTd2

It is always such a privilege to welcome the New Year with our San Tan Multicultural Fair!  One of my most favorite projects to coordinate AND the newest San Tan traditions, the Multicultural Fair gives us an opportunity to share culture and traditions with our students and families. In its third year, the 2019 Multicultural Fair Theme is appropriately, TRADITIONS.  We are so excited to listen, learn, explore and enjoy the rich cultural and family traditions at San Tan! This year our JOHNSONVILLE make-up includes families from several countries and cultures!

The Multicultural Fair is scheduled for Friday, January 18, 2019!  WE NEED YOU! We hope that you will join us in celebrating your family’s culture and traditions through music, art, artifacts, and food as we welcome in the New Year with community, culture and traditions!  Attached you will find more information regarding the Multicultural Fair and the sign up genius that you will use to indicate your participation.

Thank you for supporting our San Tan cultural community!

Elementary Art Walk and Photo Booth Fundraiser (Grades K-4)

Our fantastic team of Art Masterpiece Volunteers will be showcasing students’ best work in our annual Winter Art Walk on December 18th at 4:30 p.m., an hour before the music concert, in the courtyard. Our creative students have been looking forward to showing off their work in front of their families all semester! Please don’t miss our festive pop-up photo booth that will also be there with professional Jenny Del Toro. Photos will start at 4 p.m. for those who want to get their family pictures early enough to have plenty of time for artwalk and will run until sundown. Our Art Masterpiece team is offering a real deal at $10 for two or $15 for 3 emailed photo files in a fun scene put together by San Tan’s most creative. 100% of sales will go towards funding the color, sparkle, and other supplies our students need to create their wonderful artworks. Both students and volunteers would very much appreciate the support! CASH ONLY PLEASE.

Elementary Music Concert (Grades K-4): The Elementary classes of San Tan Charter School will be putting on a concert for the San Tan Charter School Community on December 18th at 5:30pm on the Recker football field. All students will need to be in the Recker gym at 5pm, so that each classroom teacher has time to place the kiddos in a certain order. Also, please have your kiddo wear something warm because after the sun sets, it will become quite chilly out on the field. Please join the Freeze Team as we play a game show called “Freeze Frame!” and enjoy the antics of the show’s cast, as well as the show’s singers. We have worked hard on the music and are excited to perform the show for the San Tan community. NOTE: bring your chairs, blankets, and jackets. We will have some great events occurring at this evening to benefit our Recker Campus.

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.

Book Fair dates: Dec. 17th – Dec. 20th

Book Fair Location: Recker Campus

Shopping hours: Before School and After School

Special hours: Before Music Concert (Dec. 18th)

We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Book Fair! Remember, all purchases benefit our school.

Thursday December 20th and Friday December 21st – no aftercare, no childcare.
